Any other Pokemon Snap fans here?
The g/f and I played thru the game multiple times and completed all the stages with 100% (I think it was gold badges, but it's been a while).
It was a fairly innovative game, with neat little tricks and combos you had to do to find all the hidden Pokemon (and to get them "posed" correctly for the best shot).
It also has a ton of atmosphere, that really made you feel like a "Pokemon Master".
Any other fans of this oft' overlooked and underrated title?
I love it! And I loved printing my snapshots out at Blockbuster. I still have a whole sheet of Magneton and Zapdos. :D
P.S. This would be the perfect addition to my Dark Secret thread in OT.
Its is a unique game, indeed. I would love to see this done on the GCN. More games of this ilk need to be made.
Imagine a news photography game in which you roam around a city looking for a "scoop". The better your photos are, the more $$ you get from the newspaper.
Perhaps a Spidey game like this? "Peter Parker Snap"?

I never went and printed any of my stickers out, but everytime we would walk past the stick machine at Blockbuster, we would start giggling uncontrollably. :lol:
Excellent game. I own it and play it now and then. Some people probably passed it over because its Pokemon, but those people are fools.
i always thought it would be cool to make a game called mullet hunter, where you search car shows, dive bars, 80's bands reunion tours, and the like in search of taking photo of the perfect mullet...it would also have to incorporate an element of stealth, because most mullet-wears would be offended if you were to mock them by taking their photo...i guess you could use the MGS2 engine, and use the camera mode for taking photos...the best would be if to capture a photo of the last mullet in the game, you would have to go into a bathroom or something, and when you look in the mirror...YOU'RE the one with the ULTIMATE mullet...funny part is if they used the MGS2 engine they wouldn't have to change the character model all that much...Quote:

I liked Pokemon Snap, it would've been nice if it was a little longer though. I'd kill for a game like this if it was based in the Mushroom Kingdom! Hahaha! Shyguys on stilts! *snap*
I'll say this about Pokemon Snap:
Pokemon Snap is 10 times more enjoyable (not to mention having actual gameplay mechanics) than both Primal Image (PS2) & Card Captor Sakura (DC) combined...
It's an interesting concept, I wish the game had more meat to it though (i.e. more levels).
Thanks Videodrone, after reading your "Mullet Hunter" idea, I laughed out loud. Now my assistant is even more afraid of me than ever!
I used to have a mullet-I cut it off this past May. I need to dig up a pic of that...
