Transformers

I loved it when I was watching the first season on DVD how sometimes the Autobots could fly at will, and other times they seemed to forget that they had the ability, while the Decepticons flew off into the distance.

I can't wait for Season 2 on DVD, but I fear it will be a while, there are a LOT more episodes in season 2 than in the first one.

i think beast wars was WAY better than beast machines. sure, beast machines looked hella cool and all, but the story and characters in beast wars were just awesome in my opinion. rat trap was the man in beast wars.....they made him a puss-puss-pussy in beast machines.

i thought it was funny how optomis prime ran down one of those air plane decepticons.....i mean, was he so horrified at the site of prime in his truck for that he just plum forgot that he could fly outta the way? he actually tried to outrun him....idiot.

I love all the Transformers Series, I have all the episodes of Beast Wars, Beast Machines and Transformers: RID, and all the toys as well to each series.Transformers The Movie is my favorite movie.

Also, in the pilot episodes of Transformers: More than meets the eye, they were just throwing stuff around to see where everything could fit, so thats why every tranformer could fly, but as the season moved on they decided that the Decepticons could only have the ability to fly.

To clear things up:

The Autobots were never meant to fly. When Primus created the Autobots, he created them as your average Joe on the street. They worked, socialized, and that's about it. Oh, and when they were first created, they couldn't transform.

Then the Decepticons were created as a defence force, to protect cybertron and the Autobots. They were created as war machines, and unlike the Autobots, could fly and used weapons.

Eventually the Decepticons realized their "superiority" and began enslaving the Autobots. This is when the Autobots developed the transforming technique, so they could elude their would be taskmasters. But, being not of military origion, the Autobots could only transform into non-lethal devices like cars, radios, and other such non-flying mechanations.

The Decepticons eventually learned how to transform as well, but they could assume the forms of flying objects, guns, and other lethal items.

And there you have it.

I like Transformers. Alot. But I sure as hell don't like that stupid Transofrmers Robots in Disguise crap. Of all the ways to bastardize a series. "Left Laser", "Center Laser", "Right Laser", ugh.

Hey, hey, hey! Car Robots is cool. Optimus and God Magnus are the biggity-BOMB!

The New megatrong is a Tank...Starscream is back...and the new Transformer figures are friggin cool.

Starscream and Megatron are only 26 bucks at target.fuckin awsome.if i have a place to put it..amongst my Modifiers and Gundams,and Veritechs i would have bought Starscream when i got off work today.his plane for looks like a Super Veritech in fighter mode.super friggin cule.

And Megatron just looks badass.i can't wait till we get Optimus and GOD i hope Soundwave and RUMBLE return...they were kick ass.

Captain Veggie, you nailed it. I just bought Megatron, Starscream, red Alert, and the first wave of Mincons, I just can't wait for the show to air on Cartoon Network on Aug 23 at 4pm.
