Every town in the game has a building you can go to for weapon forging; infact some dungeons even have desks so you can make shit in them. Just recruit some inventors and start making weapons and armor, it's not hard.Quote:

I'm aware that most towns have the forging locations, and it isn't like I haven't made stuff or recruited people up to this point. I've just avoided weapons stuff in order to not make the game too easy. I was just under the impression that the towns in 4D space wouldn't have access to this.Quote:

I won't spoil shit for you, but rest assured you need to make weapons with abilities as soon as possible.
At the point you are at now you both don't need to make the most powerful weapons nor do you have the ability to. By the time the game gives you the items and people you need to forge the weapons I was using, you will need those weapons.
To everyone that hasn't finished the game yet, and are well into the weapon creation:
If you get your defense to 5,000 and above, you'll be pretty much invincible [everything will do 0 damage), and even the optional bosses will be no match for you.

Alright, so a few days ago something compelled me to buy this game. I have no idea why (I've never really cared about this series, and any hype this entry might have had completely passed me by), but all of the sudden I just had the urge to get it.
I'm glad I did. Yeah, it's a bit cliched here and there, but I still haven't had quite this much fun with a JRPG in a very long time, which is odd considering I found Tales of Symphonia (which is pretty similar) to be stunningly dull. I'll probably be on the lookout for Star Ocean: Second Story now.
I seem to be stuck in Star Ocean 3.
I am just after the Golem and before the Firewall.
Fayt is around level 50. Nel and Cliff are around 45, Sophia is around level 30, Mirage is about the level you get her at, Maria is about level 35, I have never even seen Roger, Adray is at level 18, Albel is gay, and Peppita is at level 1 :) .
I have a feeling that my characters need to be about 3 times their level, right?
All my good characters are using laser weapons with upgraded attack and elements.
I started avoiding battles when I got to Styx. I thought " WHAT? I just fought that thing as a boss fifteen minutes ago and they're normal enemies now?!! :eek: You gotta be kidding me, right?"

You are an idiot. I beat the final boss without taking any damage at level 80 something. Not to mention that if you wanted to get to level 150 fighting any of the enemies you've seen thus far, it would probably take you a good 60-70 hours. I doubt the creators thought people needed to throw down over 100 hours before they were 80% of the way through this game.Quote:
