No reason for it not to, SquareEnix generally dosen't push games release dates back, so I highly doubt Enix is going to take it's big opus for 2004 and push it back.Quote:

After playing Tales of Symphonia.. which I guess in some ways (such as the freedom and beat-em-up esk style) reminds me of Star Ocean. So I can't wait.
Well it's finally out ladies and gentlemen, who bought it?
The beginning of the game... is a bit dull I guess I could say, it's all cliche and stuff which I guess is to be expected. Only an hour into it, and so far I enjoyed playing the Japanese Version (Which of course I couldn't understand.)
I look forward to it picking up... but they call it Symbology instead of Heraldry, I'm dissapointed in that.
Ah well the game picks up once you finally get to the first dungeon -.-' thank god. The game can actually be tough, I'm at one blueberry and trying to find the pass to the boss.
I bought it and I'm about sic hours in.
I'm very pleased with the pasing. Instead of throwing a million things at you in the begining, it appears that they are just making it so as long as you paly you will be doing new things. I like it.
I'll probably pick this up after I'm done with Symphonia. I'm perfectly content waiting a bit to get a few more impressions from people.
You might be waiting awhile it seems =XQuote:

I bought both the game and the encyclopedic guide yesterday. I have a few impressions:
1. Had to restart the game 2 hours in because I realized I never turned on the ability to collect battle trophies. Suckage, but worth the restart if you skip events.
2. I agree with a certain review that says that when things go bad in S03, they go bad quickly and with a huge degree of harshness. Basically in the area of preparedness.
3. Some reviews have said that the music is atrocious, others have called it Sakuraba's best work yet. So far I agree that the soundtrack it pretty well done, except for some of the over the top cheesy guitar riffs I hear every so often.
Despite some earlier misgivings about the combat system and other tiny annoyances (like the battle trophies) I'm really enjoying the game.
Here are my premature impressions after 2 hours of play:
Positive:
+ Motion capture. Usually I take it for granted, but in SO3 it's difficult to overlook the attention given to the expressive gestures of the characters.
+ Likeable characters. I really, really like them.
Negative:
- Overly complex battles. The real-time battles use a system seemingly designed for turn-based battles. The developers should've applied something similar to Tales of Symphonia, PSO, .hack, or Zelda, where it's easier to pick-up-n-play.
What, no stoic 17-year olds going "Whatever..." every other scene? I'm crushed!Quote:

* My first sentence serves as a disclaimer if I want to retract any of those opinions later. :p
I'll see if I can figure out the battles later. Last night, I was just mashing buttons even after paying close attention to the tutorial (as advised by EGM).
The opening scene will be laughingly familiar to any gamer trying to balance his hobby with attention toward his girlfriend.
