Well, now that we have discussed "pop" Vs "soda", let's dive in to the correct use of plurals:
Enland: The crowd are going wild!
America: The crowd is going wild!
Ummmm.... maybe I'm just a crazy American, but there's only 1 crowd in that sentance. I don't care how many people are in the crowd, it's still just one crowd. And it is going wild. Geez, for people who invented the language you'd think English people would know how to use it better. :p
