Mario and Star Fox Demos in stores now

our store got the July and August Demo discs for the GC kiosks

playe dliek an hour of Mario today and like 20 - 30 minutes of star fox (all in 10 minute chunks) all i can say about both is WOW

i can not wait for either one of these games they own in sooo sooooo many ways

and played a little bit of beach spikers and watched the Metroid Video

WOW all i can say is WOW the video is crazy i can not wait Metroid looks sooo good in person WOWIE WOW

it was great to play both those games allready specially getting to play star fox since no one had any on hand comments about it


the first stage i played was really cool reminded me of Panzer Dragoon cause your flying on a dinosaur shooting lasers and stuff cool shit

and seeing Metroid Prime in motion WOW

eep.

i have to say i really liked what i got to play of starfox i was looking forward to the game but now alot more and mario was just wonderful i played like 4 or 5 of the 6 levels they let you play all tons of fun all just great stuff

theres a playable monkey ball 2 on one of the discs didnt get to try that yet

i have to say Star Fox really was alot better than i expected so im looking forward to it much more than i was

it seems like its going to be a mix of flying levels and adventure levels and the fur is pretty cool

graphics on star fox are pretty nice

Metroid's graphics are simply amazing such good stuff in those 2 demo disks

I heard Star Fox has EIGHTY hours worth of gameplay...??!!??

Oh, MUST PLAY MONKEYS!!!!!!

I'm interested in trying out the Star Fox demo but I don't want to spoil Mario Sunshine for myself yet. After taking a gander at the new screenshots at gaming-age, I feel even more confident of my preorder at TRU. :D :D :D

I picked Star Fox as "game of the year" in 2000.
Soon I'll get to see of I was right.
Too bad it's getting released in the same year as Ikaruga.

I refuse to believe a single piece of hype from anyone about Rare games anymore, I've been burned far too much by their crap to believe in them before actually playing their games.

To that, are the demo discs purchasable or only playable in-store?

Yep, and 3 playable characters.

Too bad its only 5 levels long, and you have to replay through the same stages for the entire 80 hours (but atleast with diffirent characters!).

I'm with SearchMan, I'm not touching a Mario demo either, and I sure as hell hope I don't see some snot nosed kid playing it when I walk in a store, I want Sunshine to be as awesome an experience for me as Mario 64 was :D And yeah, a lot of people seemed to have been ignoring Star Fox, but it's a hell of a looker, and the gameplay looks good, I'll probably try the demo out for SF at least.
