Dreamcast Games just about gone from retail

Best Buy got rid of all the remaining DC games to make room for X-Box and PS2 games, even some of the EB's got rid of their DC section new and used as well. I have mostly what I need for Domestic DC titles anyways. Circuit City and TRU still sell DC games for new prices though. I guess that's pretty much it for DC deals for me as stores have for the most part moved on to stocking titles for active systems, which makes sense. I guess I was spoiled getting all those cheap games.

So do your stores have any DC titles left-over?

A good number of local places still have DC titles in stock:

TRU, Gamestop/Babbages, EB, and a few local independent used game places.

Mostly the common stuff, but if you were just starting a DC collection, it'd be a great place to start.

The DC section at my Best Buy had dwindled to keyboards only. They looked so lonely.

The local TRU still has D2 for $50.....but it also has quite a few copies of Typing of the Dead for $20. Go figure.

Power Stone 2 is getting pretty expensive... I'm hoping to snag a copy off Ebay sometime. What's weird is that Capcom doesn't sell it on their website but they still have the original Power Stone. And I was looking to complete my Mega Man collection with Mega Man Xtreme but for some weird reason they only carry Xtreme 2. They're doing it just to spite me I tell you. Xtreme still goes for $30... I'm trying to find it a little less than that... and I saw Power Stone 2 for $35 used! Geez!

My Gamestop still has DC games because they're still charging upwards of $20-30 for most titles.

My EB still has a good amount as well as my Bababages. I'm not too concerned about it being gone from the shelves because I got all the games I wanted on the system anyway.

Only other reason to have them around is to have a backup just in case something happens to the original, or for the titles you passed on to get cheap. It's sad this glorius game playing machine that was on the covers of EGM is reduced to a bargain bin library of games fading away.

The retail sellers can go fuck themselves. The used game shops in my area all carry DC stuff, and I expect they will for quite some time.

My Best Buy has about eighty copies of NFL2K, for about $1 each.

Then there's an EB-owned shop with a bunch of games that are $20 and up. None of which I care too much about.
