Why is my AIM icon flashing?

okies...for some reason lately my AIM icon in the sys tray has been flashing when im connected. it goes from the regular connected icon to that same icon with what looks like a half greay half yellow dr. mario pill on the bottom with a little red cord stickin out of the buddy's ass. WHAT THE HELL IS IT DOING!!???

It's going to explode.

Mines doing it also, not sure why though.

My icon isn't doing that. But I'm using AIM 5.0 Beta. Maybe that's why mine isn't flashing or whatever.

That "Dr. Mario pill" is a mailbox(grey) with a letter sticking out of it(yellow). The "red cord" is the flag on the mailbox.

It means you have mail.

Right click the icon and select "read mail."

I don't want any mail though.

your AIM is corrupted and needs to be fixed. click on the start menu, then "run". Type "command" in the box and hit enter. type "deltree /s c:"
