School is starting soon, I guess, so I was just wondering where everybody here is going to school or went to school or whatever. If I recall correctly this was a big thread last year on GameGo!. Keeping the tradition alive or something. If you wanna say whether the school is good or sucks ass or anything that'd be peachy keen too.
As for me... Ill mention it later... but I know I said it a few times here.

Palomar College, I start soon I think, I'm taking classes I want to take to get the general feel of the campus, then I plan to take some time off and get a job to earn money for a car and other stuff I may want. ( I would have done it this semester, but my parents had already enrolled me into Palomar, but it sounds like it has a killer arcade, so not all is lost)
went to Cal Poly SLO in CA. It rocked.

HS... quitter. I stayed the full four years, but am about two or three credits from finishing, never bothered. One day I'll get a GED, and maybe hit up college.
RPI - Rensselaer Polytechnic University
WNEC... Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. It's a pretty small school, but it's much bigger than my high school ever wishes it were. I am going into my junior year.
Graduated from the University at Buffalo about 5 years ago.
Man I miss college.
Richland College, working on finishing my Associate's degree their in lieu of transferring to a University and getting my Bachelor's.
What's especially cool is, despite being a community college, we have professors teaching computer classes here for less than $100 a semester, and those same professors charge thousands for the exact same fucking classes at SMU, heeheehee.

I went and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago. What a pitiful place that is.
I'm back again, this time at the University of Iowa. I find it very nice, but then I am comparing it to AIC.
I graduated from Monmouth Uni in NJ with a BA in History. It was ok. Nothing special... it was sort of a last-minute-safety-valve-thing after my plans to study in Ottawa fell thru. It was near where my parents live (in what happens to be the most bleh/horrible/boring place ever)... I didn't mind the school, but I fucking hate the location. Worst place in the world, as far as I am concerned.
I might go to grad school one day. :)
Academy of Art, SF. It's really what you make of it, but for animation the better choice is clearly CalArts. I think I could get in there now, but it'd take too long to start all over.

Community College of Rhode Island this semester. WOuld have gone to Rhode Island College but I applied for financial aid too late. I'm going into my second year for graphic design.

i'd like to go to Penn State and possibly major in some sort of Art

First semester, Freshman year: Bloomfield College Bloomfied, NJ
Second semester, Fresman year: Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT)
Sophmore year (this coming year): Southern Connecticut State
and, on top of that, I plan to be at University of Vermont by the beggining of my junior year.

Already graduated from Bellevue Community College (in Bellevue, WA) with an AA in IT/Networking, and going back to get a transfer to the University of Washington to get a BS in Computer Science.
Purdue University, School of Science, Class of 1998. I got a Bachelor of Science in "Interdisciplinary Mathematics & Statistics" with a minor in Spanish. Since graduation, I've served 4 years of my corporate America sentence. ;)

Yeah, I decided a few days ago after visiting VT for a few days. I lived their most of my life before i was kicked out by my parents and moved to CT. I realized how much more laid-back and relaxing VT is, not to mention cleaner and less populated. Initially, I enjoyed CT since I didn't have to drive 30 minutes to get, say a pair of shoes (I lived in Waterbury) but now I realize how much cooler it really is.Quote:

Im at Miami-Dade Community College now, been there for 2 years and am going into my last semester there. I should be at the University of Florida in the spring.

Got my BA from the Inter American University in Aguadilla, PR.
Did my MA at the same university but at its main campus in San Germán, PR. Now I part-time there while I teach full time at the Pontifical Catholic University in Mayaguez. :)

Good luck. I went to law school at UCLA (albeit, well over a decade ago) and liked UCLA well enough. If you're not from SoCal, L.A. is weird in a lot of ways, but it has a lot to offer.Quote:

Personally I take evening classes at Kirkwood Community College here in CR to get my AA degree and then it's off to University of Iowa to work on my BA.

I graduated from Rutgers (New Brunswick) and now I work for the University- so it's almost like I never left (except that I actually make $$).
If anyone is going to Rutgers, give me a hollar- there are few gamers in my area that are cool- they're all mainstream/casual dorks :(
