I spent a few non-fun hours playing DC2. Not sure what to do with it :/

I stopped playing and played Robotech instead, which I'm almost done with. It's pretty damn fun :) Particularly since I had just borrowed the Robotech series from a friend and watched it all a few weeks ago. Geekness supreme.

edit: Make that finished Robotech. Really cool game. Now I wanna play some two player with all the cool unlocked stuff.

annnnd finished Gun Grave. I was sort of expecting it to be that short, so I didn't pick it up till I saw it for $15...

and Zone of the Enders 2 falls as well. Vic Viper rules :) Anyone have a link to that Gradius song remix? I want it!

Took out Shogo and beat it 3 days ago. I was playing half Life, and I'm pretty deep into it, but when I tried to play it again, I got some error message, and no matter how many times I uninstalled/reinstalled the game, it won't work. I tried playing Max Payne, but I have to get used to the fact that I can't use a controller and no matter how I set up the controls, I don't feel comfortable playing it. Would have added Blood Omen 2 to my Hall of Fame, but I gave the PS2 back, and my friend saved over my turn. As it stands, I'm working on Megaman Battle Network, Quake 2, and Xenogears (still)

Panzer Dragoon Orta terminated. That makes four this week :) Too bad not a one of them was on my pile of shame :( But I am digging it back out.

Only a few more games to go. I've got two-and-a-fraction hearts in Zelda left, a bit more in Mario, then it's just Gun Valkyrie and the two remaining rpgs, Dark Cloud 2 and Breath of Fire. Unfortunately, those last two probably represent a few weeks at least :/ Then I'll be back to where I was some months ago before the developers decided to release a bunch of games I wanted to buy ;)

I finally finished off Xenogears.

That adds one to the Hall of Fame.

Four games...I swear to God, one day I will finally finish Metroid Prime. But online CvS2 and multiplayer Halo keep monopolizing my time, and PSO comes out next week...bleh. Does anybody know how many missions total there are in Robotech? I've finished about 15 so far, on chapter 3. I'd check a faq, but I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

25 hours into suikoden 3. Started playing dangun feveron and guwange via RAINE.

You're about half done with Robotech Strider. It's actually a pretty long game, but you can really grind through the missions if you sit down with it. I finished the game in two days. It does have the worlds most evil escort mission(s) though :/

The story is pretty impressive, although a bit anti-climatic.

The game was too long. I finished at 69:30.

I also feel that the game time wasn't properly allocated to the appropriate places. The game spends so much time very slowly building up the story in the first disc, then it just skips over a lot of the main events that occur during the second disc. I really would have preferred spending less time during the events in the beginning, and more time during the much more interesting events towards the end.

That's a pretty common complaint, apparently the game was unfinished, and the second disc was the result of that. Sort of a 'may as well get it out there'. A lot of stuff felt uneven, but once I got into it (took two good tries), I really enjoyed it. Plus, Citan's transformation to sword wielding badass was one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a video game
