in all honesty, gaming is pretty good on the MAC, i got Wolfenstein and Baldurs II, they run extremley crisp on my G4 with an NVidia, no different from a high end PC.
Well, well, are you telling me you frequent drunkgamers.com also?
MACs are better period.
commence flaming suckas.
Man, those comercials are great (the fake ones that is, the real ones are gay ass). Oh, and MACs suck the donkey.

That being said, I like Macs but not enough to do real work on them. I have a PowerBook G3 which I used to play Quake 3, and program some OpenGL graphics. For web browsing the PC wins hands down.
However, the new generation of Macs are catching up quick by offering a Unix based operating system and faster machines in general. Now if they would only have some competition like Umax used to provide in the early 90's, we would see dramatic price reductions.
meh...did anyone see the video?
Apple will never be a viable gaming option with it's current model. I'm sure we'll see more big titles supporting both platforms out of the box, should Apple gain more marketshare, however the computer gamers will ultimately pick PC in the end. Has anyone seen those new 1250MHZ PowerMacs? Turns out they're nothing more than overclocked 1000MHZ machines with a new mobo setup. Apple went through alot of trouble squeezing out those extra MHZ and it'll be awhile until IBM turns out the G5, if they ever do. Intel will be cranking out a 3000MHZ processor by years end, and when you combine this with an extremely fast bus speed, memory to match it, and the newest video card, you'd be an idiot for putting five grand down on a PowerMac if gaming is your goal. That's just hardware too, you also have to take in account that most games don't even see an Apple release.
