Turok "Chunkage"
Turok apparently went gold yesterday for all platforms, and should be available around Sept. 1. Here's a pretty slick movie showing some rather gory highlights from the game.
Despite seemingly lukewarm anticipation from the gaming community, I have to say I looking forward to picking this up next week. I don't expect a ground-breaking game...just fun. Anyone excited for this one?

One thing that I have always loved about Turok is the ways in which the enemies died. Thats the only thing that I wished Halo did- have enemies die as detailed as they are in Turok...

I liked Turok 2 a lot (well, it would've 100 times better if it was shorter). So I'll at least try this.

If the level design is halfway-passable, I'll be into it. I liked the first one well enough- the design in the two sequels was terrible.
-
It's all about level design. Looks like a good looking game though.
-
Yeah, I can't wait for this game :D
-
Looks like a renter for me. Like Stone said, good level design is a must.

I'll take a wait and see approach on this one. The game has potential and you can tell iguana has some talent, but I don't think any of their games have come together to well yet. I actually think Rage Wars was the best in the series so far.

I liked the second better than the first, and haven't gotten around to playing three. It definitely looks like it has potential. Don't know when I'l get around to buying it though.

I loved the first one, the second one is quite good. But way to complicated, and some really odd tasks had to be done for things to open up and such. They did not give you enough info half the time for the tasks, but it was amazing looking when it came out, made the expansion pack worth owning. I never did play the 3rd one, nor did I play Rage Wars. I will have to give this a rent maybe first.
