That is completely contrary to everything I've heard about it so far.Quote:
Gun Metal: Beautifully crafted game! Highest recomendations!
As for my haul last week: What war is good for.*
I'll probably get Buffy this week.
*Absolutely nothing, y'all.
Well, it most certainly isn't the best game ever, but I've been enjoying the white-hot, holy Hell out of it!
Not big into story or plot. It's got objective-based missions that kind of leaves you with a "here, go do this even though I'm not telling you why" kind of feeling, but it's still a great game. All the story you'll need is in the manual. And then you just follow orders. But who says a mech game needs a more grandose story outside of "There's a war brewing and this super advanced machine + the best piolet we have is the only hope for our civilization?"
It's only 40 bills, and if you buy it at GameStop you can return it (with a reciept) if you don't like it (better than renting!). Give it a shot! I love the damned thing! And I'll write that review up as soon as I get off work.
Gun Metal has an odd look. I played the demo for it, and while it certainly is not a bad game, its not wonderous. But it has this almost cartoony realistic look, hard to explain (copywrite, The Strokes).
I only played a bit of Gun Metal. The only thing I didnt like about it was that it looked good, but the missions give you no time to look around. Oh, look, that forest looks rea... OH MY GOD I'M DEAD! Oh well.
