I did get Keio Flying Squadron but it's disc only, damn it. Anyone have an extra box and manual?
NachoHat: Nice to see a Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies fan! One of the best, if not my favorite punk bands ever. Sure they just do covers, but thats what I want half the time from Punk bands anyways.
Waiting for my DC/SS RGB rig from Matt...
My only game for the week is Buffy on Xbox... a freebie. Hey, I have to finance November somehow...
Ah, I meant to post this the other night, sorry about the delay.
But, bad news for everyone about JSRF at Target. I went to the one next to me, and they were selling it for $34.90, NOT the $20.90 Neo was able to get for it at the Target nearby him. Apparently, not all game prices are corporate mandated for every store, as individual stores can put games on clearance, and $20.90 is a clearance price according to them, and other stores do not have to. The set price of the game in the system is still $34.90, hopefully the Target next to my house will drop it in price soon :(
That's too bad Ragnarok, if my store had a extra copy I'd set you up. Don't know about other Targets but when mine has one or two copies of a game hanging around a while, tey drop the price like a rock. A month and a half after it's release I got several copies of Sega Marine Fishing and Fishing Controllers for $5 (yeah, really) apiece. Of course my Target still has Paper Mario at $49.99 and I bought it at another one for half the price. Weird.... *-neoQuote:

As for my haul last week: What war is good for.*
I'll probably get Buffy this week.
*Absolutely nothing, y'all.
Well, it most certainly isn't the best game ever, but I've been enjoying the white-hot, holy Hell out of it!
Not big into story or plot. It's got objective-based missions that kind of leaves you with a "here, go do this even though I'm not telling you why" kind of feeling, but it's still a great game. All the story you'll need is in the manual. And then you just follow orders. But who says a mech game needs a more grandose story outside of "There's a war brewing and this super advanced machine + the best piolet we have is the only hope for our civilization?"
It's only 40 bills, and if you buy it at GameStop you can return it (with a reciept) if you don't like it (better than renting!). Give it a shot! I love the damned thing! And I'll write that review up as soon as I get off work.
Gun Metal has an odd look. I played the demo for it, and while it certainly is not a bad game, its not wonderous. But it has this almost cartoony realistic look, hard to explain (copywrite, The Strokes).
I only played a bit of Gun Metal. The only thing I didnt like about it was that it looked good, but the missions give you no time to look around. Oh, look, that forest looks rea... OH MY GOD I'M DEAD! Oh well.
