Always thought these would have been cooler if they actually had that midnight chrome finish all the pics portray. Great stick for that price though.
Here's some adaptors:

Too bad the chrome DC sticks like these are impossible to find or mad expensive on Ebay.
Is the stick actually any good? I mean, it's from Interact.
And come on now... chrome?
Bleh.
since we're on the topic is this stick any good? otherwise what sticks are good for ps2?
Yeah, the stick's excellent. Standard US arcade parts, very sturdy, and tons of extra features.
The one criticism it recieves is that there's a bit of a "dead zone" in the centre - the switches aren't flush against the stick base, so you have to push a little bit before it registers. I assume this is to accomodate the analogue support (there's a button at the top of the bat that when pushed in makes the stick analogue - supposedly; it doesn't seem to make a heck of alot of difference). But I've never even noticed it when playing VF4, the only game where something like that would even matter, so I can't say it's a problem at all.
It's by far the best retail stick I've ever used, and maybe the best stick period if you take into account rapid fire, programmability, analogue buttons, and other nifty things MAS sticks don't have.
Don't worry man. The PS2 Shadowblade sticks aren't chrome anyway; more of a flat finish on those. Strider speaks the truth, however, as they are great sticks, especially for the price. The stick itself is a little "clicky" (you can really tell when a direction is entered, and they aren't necessarily as smooth as a true cabinet's stick), and I think that button on top is to toggle autofire. Still, I'd rather have two of these things for $60.00 than a MAS stick for $100.00 only to have my friends complain that I won simply because they happened to be using a pad. You could buy another fighting game or two with those savings. These are, by the way, the ONLY Interact product I support.
And don't knock the chrome (despite the fact that it's hard to keep clean) until you've gotten laid strictly beacause of the coolness of your stick...
Anybody know of a converter that lets you use DC controllers on the PS2? I sure would like to use my arcade stick on it...
I guess I am really picky twords sticks or something. I could never use sticks succesfully for the life of me, when the DC came out I got the Official Sega one and could not do a Dragon Punch motion to save my life. And then a couple weeks ago I got a Free TopMax stick for the DC and I absolutly love it! I can do what ever the hell I want with it, and I think I know why, its ultra Clicky. I mean really clicky, and it works great for me. I need a stick for the PS2, maybe I should go with this one. Do you know if works with PS1 games?
