Anyone have some RGB comparison screens? You know, RGB compared to composite or even S-video. Anything.
My SS/DC RGB rig should be here within the week and I want to get hyped up for it.
Yea, something like that...
Gracias.

S-video is complete shit, you'll never look back once you have everything setup in RGB.
I would take some more/better photos but my digital camera is all out of battery juice. This old one will do.
and now for the S-Video...

OK. I've been meaning to ask this:
I have a 13" Packard Bell PB 8528 SV monitor next to me.
I buy a DC VGA box. Do I need anything else?
lol cigs, not too far from the truth that.
dog$, just buy an RGB monitor or a European TV with the relevent power convertors. No need to mess around with XRGB2s and VGA boxes.
so XRGB2 isn't that much better?
It isn't 'better' at all. Nothing beats RGB SCART in 4:3 (or 3:4) CRT.
MMmmmm... Not entirely true. The DC VGA box does. Progressive scan, you know. For the DC, that is the absolute best picture you can get. Ditto for the Cube with it's 3rd party VGA cord. As far as pre-DC systems and the PS2 however, no you can't get better than SCART RGB. The XRGB into a VGA monitor does not give as pure of a signal as RGB SCART.Quote:
