What to get, what to get, what to get?

Oh man, there is so much coming out this fall/winter. My PS2 is long gone, and I dont have an Xbox at the moment, and I will need both of those to play a few certain titles. Thats 400 right there. Then, on top of that, Steel Battalion gets me wet, and thats another 250 right there. Drop the TV I planned on getting into the mix and I have nothing. Not to mention Im starting school, and moving. So how the hell do I decide what game to and not to get. What I mean is, is there anyway to find out about limited or just plain small runs. I'd rather pay 50 new than 70 used on eBay. Stuff like Phantom Crash, or Panzer Dragoon might be hard to get ahold of after thier initial release. Will Shinobi be heavily advertized and have a nice run, or will they only run a few to see how it sells? Mario Sunshine is the last game of this season Im buing that I know wouldnt be difficult to find six or eight months from now. Anyone in my same prediciment? What are you doing about it?

Not a ton of spending in itself...EXCEPT I might be buying two arcade cab's, a neo mvs board, and a couple of games in the next couple weeks.

Not that I'm complaining though: 'cause it's all fun stuff, but I can identify with having to much to buy. :)

Well, Lots of games for me :) Since I already have all 3 consoles, that rules out the need to buy them, but increases the amount that will be spend on games.

I still not decided on Tekki, $250 is quite alot, and I can have 5 other games for that much.

PS2 will be getting most money this season: Onimusha 2 today, then Shinobi, Contra, Rygar, Kingdom Hearts, and other.

And Xbox will have some must have games as well.

Plus I still buy my dvds :), and so its even more expenses right there.

My must-haves:

Mario Sunshine
Mega Man Zero
Castlevania: HoD
Animal Crossing
Metroid Prime
Metroid Fusion

Those alone will take up a good deal of playtime along with my gigantic pile of shame. Will Orta really get rare?

I decided there is too much coming out so I am going to only buy what I can get now and leave the games that are going to be easy to obtain later on off for now, plus there is no way I can play them all now anyway and if I am lucky I will get them at lower prices too :)

That is on my get now list, just because one it is the first Macross game in the USA and two they are giving us a LE version which doesn't happen very often in the USA, so yes they are getting my support ;)

I havent even gotten to GameCube and GBA yet and Ive already got 40+ games that I know I want, or are very intrested in. Le sigh*

So you've played it, then?

You'll excuse me if I'm not quite convinced, considering that I've seen no reviews or anything yet. If you have played it (And I'm talking in-depth, not a 2-minute demo or anything), please, by all means tell us what's so great about it. And if you haven't, well, the above statement is rendered invalid, at least for the time being, isn't it?

As it stands from what I've seen, the Veritech animation looks great, but the enemies look to have the A.I. of peat moss and the environments look horrible. Add that to the fact that it's by a company whose main credits are two horrible Shrek games, and I can't help but think that this game has the highest possible propensity to suck.

Steel Batallion I think I'll have to pass on, as I'd much rather put $150+ towards one of the consoles I don't have than a single game.

Hey, does anyone know whatever happened to Capcom's Sheep on the GBA? It was looking pretty nice, and was supposed to ship back in spring... but then it just dropped off the radar.
