meh, i don't care, as long as the unit is clean/unscratched and has no actual problems with it, I'm all good with used purchases. In all the years of gaming (since the age of 6 or 7) I've never, ever had a problem with a used game I've purchased.

As long as you know where to buy used games, you should be just fine. Avoid places with bad track records, and check out new places once in a while.
