I remember back when Zelda OT was under development, EGM(I think) showed a couple pics where there was blood when Link attacked an enemy. I had a feeling it wouldn't make it into the final game.
Anyone else remember these pics?
Would you have liked it if they kept the blood in?
I remember a few older pics, but can't recall any blood. Blood doesn't seem to fit in the Zelda universe.
Wasn't their 2 different versions of Ocarina, one where Ganondorf had green blood, and one where it was red? I thought this thread was going to be about that.
As a series centered around and inspired by childhood adventures, I don't think blood fits into the games well.

Never saw the pics, but I remember being stunned when Link jammed the Master Sword into Ganon's head and red blood sprayed out. I guess Miyamoto just couldn't resist.

Remember the blood? Hell, I remember screens of Zelda 64 when they still had the cool cloaked spectres and giant hands form the original Legend of Zelda, in full 3D glory! *nostalgiac sigh* I'm going to have to look over those old Nintendo Powers. :)
Also, I too remember how cool it was seeing that blood fly when Link stabbed the Master Sword's in Ganon's head. I agree it doesn't fit too well in the Zelda universe, but that particular point in the game was incredibly dramatic and grim, I think a little blood fit the scene pretty well.
I never played OoT so I could be complaining, but knowing that at the end Link stabs Gannon in the head makes me want to play it even more:)

I understand Green, but come on, Spoiler warnings for Nintendo games is pretty damn stupid. "I didn't know the Princess gave Mario a cake!!! Dude, WTF?!?!"
