I was wondering how do i get that perfect bonus? Do I have to go throught the entire length of the game without sustaining any damage?

You have to make it through the final battle without taking a single hit and you will get the Perfect Bonus, which is another 5 million points.

ACTUALLY, to get the PERFECT BONUS you have to enter the final battle against Earth Mimicry and not allow a single projectile to hit the real earth. That is essentially what Monkeyman said.

It's a tough bonus to get, but it's worth practicing toward.

This run was pretty good overall. But since I haven't played a full run for a while, I did some stupid stuff, like forgetting the path through the lasers at the end of 2-2 and missing the Central Commander Bonus. Would've broken 90mil if not for that.

At least I got the Perfect Bonus - barely. I thought I'd lost it at one point, but I lucked out and somehow shot down two rows of blue dots that were nearly touching the ground.

I have the run on tape, so if anyone wants to see it, just gimme a yell and I'll capture it and send it to you.

Strangeness I just saw your replay vid of 90 mil. Some very excellent work! Barring the minor mistakes (which unfortunately cost players A LOT of points in this game) it was a really exciting run to watch. Blue Raid was extremely well done! Looks like you need to practice portions of 3-2 though, that level is a bitch!
I like how you sword'd the big ruffian at the end twice, I thought you could only do it once. Heh.

I messed up 3-1 and 3-2 badly in that run - I'm usually nearly flawless at 3-1, and while I'm not perfect at 3-2, I can do much better than that. Conversely, I did much better at 2-2 than I usually do, and that made up for a lot.
