I got into a long discussion with UPS one day on the phone when they tried to deliver a package but I wasn't home since I was at work. Basically, every time they could deliver within the next week I would be at work and the package was at a UPS station on the other side of town (I didn't have a car), with nowhere they could drop it off that was even close to walking/biking distance. They had no clue what to do with the package, which rather ticked me me off. I ended up having to convince a friend to drop by the station one day on his way to work and pick it up for me.
Friggin' UPS, they're a mail drop-off service which requires signatures that only drops off packages when most people aren't home. Who the hell came up with that?
