I finally unlocked God Rugal!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, last night was a milestone as I FINALLY defeated God Rugal on DC CvS2 and unlocked his ass. To give you an idea of how long this has been coming, let's put it this way: I preordered this game.

I scored like 1200 Groove points with Ryo and Kyo on K Groove and earned my shot, only the second time I have ever been granted a fight with him (fought Shin Gouki a million times, though). All told, it took me about 40 minutes using various level 4 fighters until I finally pulled it off with Ryo, and you know how I started with 1200 Groove points? I finished with NEGATIVE 193.3. Damn!!!

This guy is the cheapest son of bitch in fighting game history, any character who teleport clear across the screen and get behind you to throw is a punk ass cheater. But not an unbeatable punk ass cheater.

woot! Congrats sir! Since my gaming skill is next to nill I'll just say that I had such a huge feeling of accomplishment when I beat Orochi Iori in SNK vs Capcom:MotM. I know I just suck, but for me, it was awesome. I did a little dance even though I was on a public bus at the time.

Whoah... Orochi Iori is cake compared to some of the evils that SNK has come up with... Rugal, Geese, Orochi '97. Those are what true pain are made of.

Yeah, I know. Trust me, I've broken a SNES controller over one or another KoF game before. Im trying to work my way up and get better at various games before I go around trying to tackle the really touch bosses. Atleast I can beat O Iori without much difficulty now.

And geez, you pre-ordered the game? I hope it's been sitting in your PoS for a while, because I unlocked those guys the first day I had the thing. But congrats, God Rugal is by far the coolest part of that game. When I saw those cinemas I couldn't believe my eyes. Now, have you gotten Shin Akuma? Because I remember him being nastier than Rugal...

God Rugal's nasty, true, but if you want a truly evil boss to fight, try taking on Goenitz (KOF '96). He brings new meaning to the word cheese. :lol:

Sorry, I was thinking Fatal Fury. I've been up for a long time this morning. Either way, I thought there was a KoF on SNES.
