Good one Shinobi. I guess you don't play games on your computer much.
I don't play many, but there *IS* a performance increase with most games on WinXP. And if it won't run in 2k, chances are it will in XP. This also extends to other programs that have problems in 2k. Despite the tinker toy interface (which you can turn off and go back to 2k-style), there are significant performance increases in XP that standard 2k does not reflect (anyone who has service pack 3: please tell me if MS has brought 2k up to speed performance-wise, or if it's just a bug fix).
Lhadatt
I downloaded the service pack 3 files, as far as I know they were just bug fixes.
Yeah, I don't play PC games much. I've recently been playing Jedi Outcast and UT 2003. StarCraft gets played every now and then. Then there are my emulators, none of which give me a problem running.
Though, some of my friends are complete PC gamer whores, the kind that bash console gamers to no end, and all of them are running Win2k. Everything runs perfectly fine.
