Actually, I'd go with the name "Velouria," just because its cool and really rolls off the tongue all seductive-like.

I named my new puppy Neia, because I am a dork.

Kaneda or Tetsuo. In case he ever runs away you'll have an excuse to run up and down your block yelling "Tetsuoooooooo!"
