Well, that's not entirely true from what I've learned so far. The hiragana used to spell this word does use the equivalent of a "u", however, it is used to signify a double vowel sound (in this case the "o" in "do"). So, I guess you might see it written both ways in roomaji, but it doesn't really matter as it's not really a great way to write the Japanese language.

Oh. . . and people who rip others off suck ass and should be beaten.
