Which is the superior game and why, is Monkey Ball 2 worth the 50 bucks if you already own Monkey Ball 1? I loved the first one but I've heard a lot of negative things about the sequel

Where is the "I never played either" choice?
If you didn't play either one then just harass people to answer the question
Umm.......Answer the damn question, people!
That's it, tear em'a new one!
The word of Alf has been declared, vote a damned Monkey Ball before I get my Super Duck of Aflac after all of your asses!
If you said Monkey Ball 1, then you're an ass-pirate. ;)
Monkey One's arcade mode is better then Monkey Two's. Two's levels are more about timing and gimmicks then about skill. (Overall. There are still some great Monkey Two levels to be had.)
Monkey Two offers more minigames though. And a story mode.
These differences sort of even out for me, so I don't have a real favorite. Plus, the changes actually work towards making Monkey Two feel different enough to justify a purchase even if you played Monkey One to death. Definitely buy it if you loved the first one, especially if you played the mini games as much as the arcade levels.
Monkey 2 is more Puzzle like I guess. Its got more brain ticklers I guess. While Monkey 1 was more about skill in terms of a steady hand and such. I think thats why I liked Monkey 1 more, just felt a little more action packed, if you can even call it that. Monkey 2 is great though, the levels are just laid out different. And more mini games and new additions to the the old ones. Both are great but Monket 1 is just better in the Main Game area.
