DC VGA trouble

So, I bought a DC VGA adapter in preparation for Ikaruga. I hooked it up to my TV (My TV has 2 VGA inputs), and turned on Mars Matrix. The (normaly white) load screen with the bouncing spiral is PINK!?!?

I start to play the game, and everything is suspiciously pink, then it will flash to the correct colors, and back to pink. By the end of the first level, it wasn't flashing between the two. It had chosen pink as the new color scheme for Mars Matrix (This makes the game quite hard to play BTW).

WTF?

Can someone help me?

I already tried reconnecting the cable...

What brand of adapter? The best one out there is Performance. Go find that one, return the crap one you bought. :P

Also, it would help if your TV could accept computer-compliant VGA signals. This is the case, correct?

Try wiggling your monitors cable around. my monitor does the same thing unfortunatly its the monitors cabler.

yeah sometimes my colors would be weird or id get an "out of sync" error. id just unolug the damn thing from the dc and plug it FIRMLY back in. usually worked.

The one I bought was made by Pelican. (Didn't see any other types) My TV is what I use as my computer monitor and I've never had any trouble with it, so I'm fairly certain it's not on the TV end.

I'm gonna' jam on the connectors a bit and see if I can work it out.

Umm if your using your TV as a monitor, I don't see why you'd need a VGA box. Maybe those things aren't meant to be used on TV's unless you mean the S-video out put like on my blaze one.

Technicaly, my TV isn't a TV at all, it's a monitor. Like I said, it's made for VGA hookup directly (2 port in the back, on 2 separate channels). I need the VGA box to convert the DC signal into VGA...

Oh, I fixed the problem. A bad connection inside the box. I just re-soldered it...
