Yeah, GT3 is the same as GT2, which was damn close to GT1. If you like driving games that try to be sims, and if you have never played this series before, be prepared to kiss massive parts of your life goodbye.

Let me put it this way. The creators understood what they had, took all the good aspects of the serieseseses and then put them into the newest installments.
Twisted Metal Black (I might wait for the online version) has the best control in the universe, and Gran Turismo 3 can keep you occupied for years to come.
TMB is a typical Twisted Metal game -- it's not as good as part 1 but still playable.
What ever happened to the guys who did Twisted Metal 1 and Warhawk? Was Rogue Trip their last game?
the guys who did Twisted Metal 1 and Warhawk also did Twisted Metal 2 and formed Incognito, which did Twisted Metal Black. I think both TMB AND GT3 are steals for 20 bucks. They both get lots of play time...TMB is a dark, twisted TM game which fancy pyro, slick 60fps action and amazing playfields...I love it. The stories accompanying each of the contestants is worth the price of admission.
As for GT3, well I too only played the first one, and I'd say this is also worthy of purchase just for the face-lift it's received...I still find it one of the most visually impressive games EVER. And at 60fps it feels more smooth, solid and refined, when coupled with those jaw-dropping graphics (not just the cars, but the roadside detail, trees, etc) make it loads more fun to play. Some of those songs are great too. I strongly recommend both titles.
They are shit. :)
Spend your money on wine and women instead.
They're both worth the $20 price tag. Just buy them.
Reading all of your advice I've decided I'll go for the wine and women. A drunk lady can buy me a whole bunch of stuff.
Thanks for all of your input though. I'll definitely pick up both as soon as I get some free cash. I don't think they're going to become rare anytime soon.
