Ninja Commando

I finally got a chance to play this Neo Geo game again. Ninja Commando is a great overhead action game. It's pretty much a sequel to an older Alpha Denshi game called Time Soldiers in terms of its gameplay and the fact that you travel to different time periods. Even many of the enemies will look familiar to Time Soldiers fans.

But Ninja Commando is a big improvement over Time Soldiers with its colorful Neo Geo graphics, lots of explosions and the addition of ninjas(which makes everything better).

Never heard of it, but it looks cool.

And the title sounds very much like an 80s action movie.

Ah, yes! Ninja Commando... An excellent game. Also stars one of the ninjas from Ninja Combat. I loved how they added fighting game controller movements into the game. Plus you have to love the quotes on the bottom of the screen whenever you preform special moves or pick up items!

Ive played it , I dont think its as fun as Mercs or ikari warriors.

I actually found this one in an arcade once. Lots of fun- 'tis a shame that these types of games are quite rare nowadays...

NC is one of those games that reminds you that the Neo is only a 16-bit system...
