Alright... I got the VGA box for Ikaruga, and it works fine with the monitor put up the normal way. Now as soon as I slap that bad boy into tate mode, I get crazy colors in the upper left corner, like the kind of colors you'd get when you stick a magnet near a tv. Since it only does then when I rotate the monitor, I'm wondering if there is anything I can do about this, short of getting a new monitor.
If it is a computer monitor it probably does a deguass when you turn it on. Just flip it, turn it off, and turn it on again.

It may be that your monitor doesn't have degaussing built right in. If so just turn the thing off, turn it on it's side and leave it sitting like that for around 5-10 minutes. Then turn it on and it should work fine.

Well if 5-10 doesn't work, leave it sitting on it's side for 20 minutes turned off. That's the maximum amount of time it should take to degauss.

Well I\'m gonna wait for the 20 minutes now... on another note though, this newer monitor I\'m using is bigger, and seems MUCH more vivid.
