There is actually a Ronald McDonald hanging by a noose over the drive through at the Geist Road McDonald's up here in Fairbanks, Alaska, as well as several signs decrying their food and its nutritional value, or lack thereof. The city council bent zoning laws to allow the McDonald's to go in there, and property values for nearby homeowners plummeted. It has been hanging there for years now. I found a place that has some of the letters to the editor inspired by it.
