Any OZ fans here?

I've been a huge fan of the HBO series ever since it began. Easily the best show on TV- it's brutal, unpredictable (anyone can be killed at any time, even major characters), and funny, with great characters and storylines. The only thing that sucks is that you do have to deal with the occasional gay stuff (it is set in a prison, after all), but other than that, It's an amazing show. It sucks that the upcoming season is the series' last. Hopefully they'll make a women's prison version next... :)

OZ is great.

Can't wait for the next season to start. Only thing I DON'T like about it is the rather haphazard schedule they have for releasing episodes.

The Wire (which just wrapped up) totally owned it imho. One of the best series' I have ever seen.

I watched one episode, found it pretty good, but just couldn't handle all the dick. Personally, being an Italian, I find the Sopranos much better though. :)

What's this I hear about dick and shit on Oz? I don't have HBO so I've never seen it, but that seems to be the main thing most people mention when they talk about it. Is it really that bad?

It's a show about guys in jail, so you often see guys walking around with their dicks hanging in showers, or trying to (or in the process of) fucking someone in the ass.

Holy Shit! I heard Oz was raw and grimy like that, but damn! I didn't know they went that far.

OZ is one of the best shows that has ever come out. Period.

Can't wait to see how they wrap everything up though. Will Beecher be paroled, get out, and get away with his daughter before Schillinger has him killed? Will Augustus' death cause Redding to start a full-scale prison war with the factions that caused it? Will Alvarez and Omar White ever TRULY find paths to redemption? Will O'Reilly and Dr. Nathan ever get it on? Is Cyril really gonna get the juice? Hoo! I can't wait! :)

The release schedule for OZ is so haphazard that I honestly don't know if I believe this will be the last one...

WHat ! They killed Agustus??? Damn.

I loved the show, but I missed last season, since we dont have HBO no more :( And I guess I missed some good developments.
