I love it when people say "we" as if they are on the team.
If you are on the team then pardon my commment.

Well, yeh City sucks and I must admit I laughed when they went down to Division 2. I am ashamed to say I used to know the guys in Oasis and I talked to them a few times about City... I also remember seeing the Manics (I don't really like them actually, but I got dragged to a show once) and one of their roadies wearing a City away kit after the show when we were hanging out... So, I was taking the piss out of City's relegation but he was good natured and gave me a nice Manics t-shirt. He was just happy to talk football with someone (this took place in NJ)...
If I was from Manchester I would support Macclesfield Town. That's the hometown of the sadly defunct band Marion.. They were Macc Town fansand got me a little interested in the team.
Anyway, in NA it's hard to support minnows, as they're never on television, except the odd cup tie.. but I do follow the tables. I am happy I get to see planty of Liverpool matches. :)
Speaking of Chelsea... and speaking as a fan of Icelandic football (really!).. I just have to say that Eiđer Guđjohnsen kicks arse! :)
He's no Milan Baroš (2 goals on his debut!) of course, but he's great. ;)
Oh Yes!Quote:

Eider rocks completely. He's is now officially 'off the mark' with two goals in our 3-0 stuffing of Newcastle. And what did the mighty ManU manage? To lose 1-0 to Leeds. Anyway, I think we're 4th now - about what I expected, and a million miles better than all the pundits reckoned. But then what do they know?
Nikorasu, you must buy this t-shirt.
I think Chelsea is a strong contender to win the league title. Since Abramovich bought the team, he's been spending more money than even Real Madrid in the transfer market. They just agreed to fee with Parma to get their striker Mutu. I was kind of disappointed to see Veron leave for Chelsea, but then again I think that there are plenty of people that take take his spot and probably play a better game. Of course I don't think Chelsea will even be runner-up with Man. Utd winning again and Arsenal finishing runner-up again.

Abramovich should just bribe the hell out of everyone.
What was I gonna say? Oh, right.
BARNSLEY FOREVER! Yeah.
I think Chelsea might struggle with chemistry. In any sport it's hard to put so much talent together so quickly and expect them to be a team. It will certainly be interesting to see how they do this season.
I think chemistry will only become an issue if the team starts off poorly. There's a lot of hype and expectation around this team and if the struggle early on, it could lead to chemistry problems. I don't see Chelsea doing any better than 3rd spot. Can't wait for next Saturday.Quote:

Ah yes, watching Chelsea lose to Harry Kewell and the Mighty Reds will be nice indeed. Revenge for last season. ;)Quote:
