Can we agree on ONE game?

Isn't Captain Tsubasa that manga with the heavily gay (as in, homosexual) subtext? Because if it features menu-based man-on-man flirting, that's pretty innovative.

I don't think so. The main character has a girlfriend. And And there was the comedy bit about hitting on the female coach assistant when they moved to the brazilian team. There were not, however, any scenes of chance occurences in the showers after the game, or what have you.

You're right; I was reading something poorly worded about a yaoi takeoff of it.

As for the "this experiment is worthless" comments- yeah that's probably true. But it's still interesting to knock off shitty games and add some you hope people will appreciate.

Axelay is a terrible game because: your ship is always and annoyingly returned to the center of the screen. The whole thing feel like your ship has rubber bands tied to either side of it and you're being pulled all over the place. In terms of pure shooter gameplay, it's a waste of time. As a Mode7 tech demo it's downright amazing though.

The Tony Hawk games are just boring sports games, and they don't deserve the hype they get. They're made for skaters, and that's not me...so off they go. I couldn't find anything particularly appealing about them. Graphics are extremely ugly too.

MODE7 IS THE GREATEST THING EVER! It should be used in all games.

Sorry to burst a few bubbles, but I've seen a large amount of that list cut off, and not be updated. For instance, GGX was called off a few pages ago.
