Well, my first solution to playing import games on my DC was to use a CDR burned with a demo version of UK Action Replay, which, as a perk, allowed the system to play imports. It never loaded timely or quietly - the drive grinded and whirred for sometimes 2 minutes before finally loading the Action Replay. However, my DC still works just fine, though I have since ditched that method and bought a US Gameshark Lite, which loads with no troubles, and lets me play every import I own, in VGA, no less ('cept Bangaioh).
Take that as you will, but all that grinding can't be a good thing for longevity. That's why I stopped using it.
Well not really. If the cd is bunred right the cd-rom drive will read it like a normal GD-ROM. I have been using the Enchealon cd for improts in it since i have owned my DC(9/9/99) and have had no problems.
