PS2 was the only system not getting PSO. Perhaps they've just decided to port it afterall.

i don't think it'll be PSO, since you can't charge an online fee on sony's network, and sega "needs" to charge a fee for PSO.

But the fanboy in me must chime in with a "Please be a NiGHTS 2!" even though the odds are against it. :(

SEGA's TGS list had Sonic Adventure 3 on it, an it mentioned multiple platforms. It just makes sense when you think about it.

If NiGHTS 2 is ever created, I hope it\'s released on the XBOX. Think of all that power, and the S controller.. *drool*

Mixed feelings about that. Aslong as they still go round making games for other things, I wont mind. If they make Sonic for PS2 and then go round porting it to other systems, then I will be unhappy(well, untill I play it anyway).

Somehow I think it'll be Skies of Arcadia 2/3 or some other RPG of sorts.

I really hope it isn't a puzzle game since those are better off on portables. Something brand new is what I want.

I think it would be OverWorks announcing it, if it were Skies. I will just go ahead and hope that it is something completely new and unrelated to a previous franchise.

If Sonic Adventure 3 is held down by the PS 2, I'll be pissed! Something as high profile as that deserves to be made from the ground up on the Cube.

Screw the Sonic Adventure series, throw out the "Adventure" part and work on something original Sonic Team! Even a Tail's Adventure would probably be better. ::shakes fist at Sonic Team::

No, it's not on the TGS list... here's the list: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/370/370678p1.html. No Sonic Adventure 3. And last I remember hearing, Naka was saying that they were done with any new "Adventure" games. The next Sonic game is supposed to go more back to the action roots.

Sonic Team generally has a vague (I would say useless) definition of "a new game."

I think that the rumour of the next Sonic game not being an "Adventure" was proved to be no more than a rumour...

I find it funny that people are complaining that Sonic Team might be making a game for a PS2. SEGA went multi-platform so they could make money, not continue to piss it down the drain. If they want to make money, they should focus on the platform with the largest install base. If you want to play SEGA games ten years from now, you're going to have to deal with the fact that occasionally they will make games for the system with the least amount of power. I'm sure you'd all be very happy if they only made games for Xbox and then went bankrupt. That would sure rock.

Life sucks, but at least it's short.
