Nift nifty... But I have to wait until Christmas to get a damned camera...

The wait sucks.

What's up with SanDisk CompactFlash cards... The 128 MB cards are under $50 at amazon.com. Are they reliable?

I'm sure they are fine. CompactFlash cards have been steadily dropping in price.

Dell is a great place to buy digiatal cameras. SO cheap, i was pissed i payed almost $350 for a Cannon S200, and my friend bought it from Dell for $220 with all the sales going on and coupons he had. Go with Cannon, they are nice.

I went for the Canon A40, by the way. Got a real nice price and I've only heard good things so far [from you guys and review sites]....

am i the only one that got a SONY digi-cam? i got a Sony DSC-S75. i got mine off of buy.com. the camera MSRP is $700. but at the time i was buying it, most if not all places were selling it for $500. and since buy.com had free shipping, i jumped onto the bandwagon. not to mention $50-100 off anything over $200. the camera already came with a 8mb memory stick and battery. so i went ahead and bought me a 128mb lexar media memory stick. the total came out to about $490 total. i went ahead and bought me a sony leather carry case, extra battery, and another 8mb memory stick (package specifically for my digi-cam).

it would help if you gave a name of the model and model # ;)

get extra batteries, any bug name brand besides kodak will work. sony, canon, fuji, etc work well.
