Has anyone tried Burger King's Tacos yet? I guess their trying to branch out or something...
thats messed up...
99 cent value meal!
burger king doing tacos, well the have to be better than taco bell.
They're pretty good actually. Nice and spicy. There's absolutely no "meat" in them though. Damn things are scrawny as chicken shit. But they're tasty.
I think calling them tacos is a bit complimentary. Stuffed nacho chips might be closer to describing what they actually are.
They're pretty bad, but at 50c a pop I really couldn't ask for much better.
I dont even remember last time I was at BK.
Heh..this is funny. A friend and I stopped into Burger King the other night and we were both suprised that they had Tacos. I didn't have the nerve to try one, since the picture on the menu didn't look all that appealing...I think I'll stick to Burger King for burgers and Taco Bell for tacos. :)
Soon they will have have to change names to:
Taco King and Burger Bell !
Burger Bell, classic shit.
Or...Taco Burger and...King Bell?
Holy fuck, Despair, your post count is insane. I just broke 700... :(
Doesn't Despair have a family to raise?...
Haha, that was great.Quote:

I don't rely on Taco Bell or Burger King for tacos, I usually eat the ones made in those kits you buy from the store. They are easy to make and you can customize your food to your liking much better than a fast food joint can.
bk's got stuff on that 99 cent menu i would never associate with them making. tacos being the most obvious and the other being a sour cream and chives baked potato. o yea... also the chilli. that shit just screams out wendy's.
and this is way off the subject of Burger King, but i sometimes think BK stands for British Knights. yea, those sneakers you'd see everywhere back in the 80's and early 90's. that's hardcore knowledge about nothing for you.
I beat you to the British Knights analogy a few hours ago in the rate the name of the person above you thread.
I remember seeing British Knights all the time as prizes on Double Dare and Family Double Dare.
i've never looked into that thread, but that's some good knowledge about nothing.Quote:

Hehe.
They ain't great... but I like 'em
I didn't at first, but they've grown on me. And at 50 cents a pop, what can you lose?
Well, they couldn't possibly be any worse than Jack In the Box's tacos, could they?
I used to like chicken crisps back when they were for $.99 till the M&Fer's decided it wasn't what the market wanted. I was so hoping they'd at least add 1 flavor simular to that. :(
You got me there :lol:Quote:

I remember British Knights too, there were some adds back home, before I came here.
Tacos at Burger King :p Although it can't be any worse then when McDonalds had pizza, that was aweful... but then again I already knew it was going to be
McDonald's also had those chicken wings, they were pretty good, I never tried the pizza though...
mcdonalds also had chicken fajitas too - ... and i wonder why i don't eat at mc's anymore
What the hell are you people doing eating fast food tacos? Find a Rubio's and repent. Now.
Really? When was this?Quote:

Mcdonald's Fajites were actually pretty good. Just don't ask me what I was doing a fast food restaraunt, I hate fast food restaraunts.
Until you came to the Great Three, Despair? =PQuote:

I'll probably be alone forever on this but I really liked McDonald's Pizza. Now they've changed it and I hate it. Bah.Quote:

I really hated those Chicken Tenders and Wings they had, though...
stupid mcdonalds!
How many saps live in the Great Tree?
Also, Wendy's has some good fried chicken.
i stopped by BK right next to my house after class and i bought the sour cream and chives baked potato, the tacos, grilled sourdough cheese burger and the chilli.
tacos - surprisingly good. its weak point is that there's really nothing in the taco "shell" to keep you full. meat is kinda non-existant. for what you get, i wouldn't pay 50 cents for one. but still, it was surprisingly good.
sourdough cheese burger - damn, damn, damn good. ain't nothing special about it, but it's just damn good and very tastey. best of the lot!
baked potato w/ sourcream and chives - not terribly bad, but not extremely good. potato is fairly on the small side, and the chives are like not even there. it's like a cheap garnish really. it's also a do it yourself deal unlike how wendy's does it. at wendy's they make it for you with all the fixin's on top. at bk, they give you a plain baked potato (with the measely chives), a little tiny container of melted butter and another with the sourcream. if you're lazy like i am, then you'll probably be turned off by the fact you gotta do it yourself. but it's decent enough to be had every once in a while.
chilli - i like chilli, but not bk's. the one next to my house makes their chilli very salty (it might not even be my bk that does it that way). it might be because of all the shit that's in there, but it's still very salty. it's also pretty hot. not mild hot or blazing hot, but hot. overall it's pretty good, but i don't think i'd have it too often, i'll stick with wendy's chilli.
Fast food has gotten really crazy. These people are selling chili for God's sake! My friend always gets the chili at Wendy's and it just looks like it's been regurgitated about 10 times over. Bet that makes it all the better though...
BK has some great apple pie.
I tried the tacos for the first time today and came away impressed. I'm glad to see a spicy taco on a fast food menu.
Definately not recently, this was at least 6 or more years ago... I can't remember exactly when though but I know they had them at one point.Quote:

Nice reviews Ashen. Not as good as my Cereal reviews but they get the point across :)
The sourdough burger I tried a month or two back. Tastes plain. I'd rather spend my dollar on the bacon cheeseburger.
Interesting bit of trivia for everyone: Wendys uses the burgers they didn't sell today to make tommorow's chili. BK is probably doing the same thing which probably explains the saltiness since BK's patties are usually like that.
hahaha, that's funny, but gross at the same time.
I remember visiting Toronto when I was about 11 or 12 and having some popcorn chicken from the McDonald's at the Skydome. It was pretty damn good. Love to go back and see Canada again one of these days :)
