New PSO Xbox Character

I still don't care about PSO, but for PSO fans who like me, need the 'ultimate' version of every game, this sucks.

... unless they come up with a whole new class (ie: not Ranger/Hunter/Force), i really don't care... just like i didn't care about the FOmar, RAmarl, or the HUcaseal

If the game supports text input, I can bust out my xb to usb converters. :)

I dunno though, GC is shipping earlier...tough choice.

Besides that and the voice chat, is it still just a port of version 2?

Sega accountant: So uhm.. what do we do with all these overstock Dreamcast keyboards? If we write them off as a loss, Kayama is going to think you screwed up.
Sega product developer: Hrm. Wait, I know! Put PSO on the Xbox! That way we'll just cut off the DC connectors on the keyboards and slap Xbox connectors on, then stick a Xbox label over the DC one....
Sega accountant: Great idea! Now I can get back to cooking the books to make up for the massive losses we incur for each copy of our Xbox games sold.

So, does this mean it'll include the new GC characters as well?

The Xbox version was planned as far back as the GC one... you do know that, right?

Uhmm... exactly what relevance does that have to anything, thugg? So they planned it out way in advance. Big deal. That still doesn't change the fact that it's a bad management decision for a company like Sega to publish their best titles on a platform that doesn't have a guarenteed userbase. With the Cube, you KNOW people are going to buy it sooner or later due to the franchise games. The Xbox isn't in the same positon, primarily because most of MS's Christmas stuff is either crap or delayed....
