When is Legend coming out?
Play it on DC, then play Legends with the rest of us. Great excuse to play the best RPG ever made all over again.
It comes to the US sometime in January.
the new one should be interesting, considering they'll have to alter the entire story to fit in a new character..
Maybe you should wait till the GC version is out, and if the new character and port isn't that good, get the DC version.
series??
this is skies of arcadia we're talking about here, right?
I already traded away my DC rev in preparation for the Cube version.
EDIT: Wow, my 1000th post turned out to be a lot more anti-clamactic and far less ground-shaking than I expected :p
I had the import of Skies on DC and never played past the 1st boss battle (kept dying) But I think I really like the new character so I'll give the GC one another go.
I love Skies of Arcadia, I say play it on DC then play it again on Cube. As for trading away DC games once the game comes out on another system, I just keep my DC collection because I love DC and because usually the DC version is better in some way. Besides, owning the game on the system it was made for has soul. Playing Ecco on PS2, for example, just doesn't seem right (aside from the fact that the PS2 port is horrible)
How would you even know if ya liked the other characters, as well?Quote:

Good point Rich.
Has it even been announced officially if anything (other than the new character) is going to change?
I remember reading a while back that they were thinking of changing up the Airship battles for the GC version.
Greatest Japanese RPG EVER.
So dissapointed in those who have not played.
Random battles, pfft, in my day we would have to fight through seven random battles to get the screen to scroll.
Too true!Quote:

My main problem with SoA was that I felt the story and characters were awfully poor; shallow and two dimensional. Hopefully SoA Legend should have improved these aspects somewhat. :)
Loved the game, though. It had an atmosphere all of its own; I just wish they'd put a story and characters worth playing for in there.
I would hope not, the airship battles are by far my favorite aspect of SoA. I would fly around just hoping to find air battles, all though they were rare to come by.Quote:
