I just wanted to have a separate place to list things that are fun to do in this game. Hopefully people on the fence will break down and play, or people will get new ideas for cool stuff to do while everybody learns more about the game.
I'll go first:

I dig sending letters filled with innuendo. There is a cat named Mitzi in my village who seems to have a crush on me. So I sent her a totem pole as a present with a letter that said: "I hope you enjoy my pole." Now I have to figure out what to send to Chico, the gay mouse who also has a crush on me.
Now that makes for an interesting story. A catwoman and a gay mouse both in love with you, finally dueling it out to the death to have you, exclusively, only for the gay mouse to win. And then the gay mouse finds out your straight, and plants some C4 in your house, blowing you up, along with ending his life with his one true love.Quote:

If you want something cool to do in Animal Crossing, you can try to make that scenario actually happen. :)

dig a bunch of holes around the villager you hate, and hit him on the head with the net. Repeatedly. Then, fill in one of the holes with a pitfall. Watch him fall in. Laugh.

Nintendo needs to get this stuff out. I had no idea you could do stuff like this. Screw it, I am buying this game.

I really like to think up goofy stuff for my friends to say.
My wife & I have already had one animal from each of our towns switch, & it is neat to see that they don't act the same towards everyone. That bastard camofrog was cool to Amy while he has been nothing but a dick to me. I took a tip from someone else in another thread & buried a soccer ball in front of his door. :)

Is everyone's town like mine? I seem to be living in the Animal Crossing version of Berkeley, circa 1969. Anything goes in my town! Tonight I visit my friend Curly the pig. We make some idle chitchat and I end up giving him some trinket for free. He proceeds to tell me that I'm gorgeous, but then quickly corrects himself and says "I mean generous". Then he tells me how beautiful my eyes are. So, in addition to Chico the gay mouse, I now also have Curly the gay pig after me. But that's just the beginning. Later I visit Tabby, a female cat who lives nearby. After some small talk, she suddenly blurts out "I want to give you my cherry". At least I think that's what she said. I was so shocked I can't remember the exact wording. I know the phrase "my cherry" was definitely in there. So, I end up trading a cricket for her cherry and she apologizes, saying it's not a very fair trade! :lol:
I return to the village later on to see if anyone has written me back. Mitzi's letter says she enjoys talking to me but that my "pole" letter was strange. I go to visit her but she's already asleep. But who should be there, lurking around her house like a Peeping Tom but Curly! Apparently, he's really a bisexual pig. I whack him a few times with my net to show him who's boss and head off to sleep. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow...
This game rules.
I found that if you have nothing to do at night go around and shake the trees I've got some FAT CASH from a few (1000 bell) but mostly it's 100 bell bags. And does anybosy know what up with area A-1? The wishing well says "something's amiss in A-1" but I can't for the life of me figure out what.
P.S. Don't forget the festival on the 23rd. Play Games. Win Prizes.

Whenever the wishing well says to do something, do it. That's how you imporve the town rating. If he says there is little green somewhere, go there and plant some flowers/trees.
