Okay, some more thoughts. First, does this mean Hitmaker is finished with Arcade Force? I hope not, as some people say the latest version could use a bit more work.
Second, will this handle the arcade card system in the same way PS2 VF4 does? I hope so...
...And replays. Without replays, there would be a lot of hopeless players.
Online play? Sounds nice.
On a whole? I'm happy.
...I'll be there on day one, that's for sure.

WAHOO. Great news.
1: If it's a VO4 port, how the hell is PS2 going to manage 4 mechs at the same time? If it's as jaggy, shimmery and washed out as PS2 VF4 I will cry. I love the bright colors in VO, losing those would kill the game for me.
or
2: If it's an original game then I have a lot more hope for the game as it can be tailor made around the PS2 capabilities.

Yeah ok now that Tain is gone back to his home in which he will more than most likely post from, It's my turn to jump, shout, and dance with glee, for those who Haven't noticed my avatar.
HOLY CRAP! THIS DAY HAS BEEN BLESSED WITH THE NEWS OF THE GODS, KNOWN AS HITMAKER. Well maybe they aren't gods, maybe they are *Thief looks through his newly acquired book of mythilogical deities.* Hmm... this book must be outdated.
It seems that my eyes can not withhold the tears of joy that sting them with such bliss I cannot express with words, but only with the extatic jumps and dances I have preformed that I don't have to worry about Tain laughing at me, or shunning me.
Hopefully, it won't look like crap, I think the PS2 can handle it, maybe at a little less perfection, but the way VF4 looks, I imagine if Hitmaker can do the port just as good as AM:2 it will look just as good, or maybe a tiny bit worse.
Let's just hope that it's the first one, or the ladder, either way VO on my PS2! It will actually happen!

Yeah I just looked on one of my saved replays from Virtual On Oratorio Tangarm. Damn I used to have a full memorycard of those and just sitt back and eat chips while watching them :)
A truly awesome game,never played the saturn Virtual On, bought OT becasue of insane hype from one of gamefans editors if I remember correctly.
Damn that was a awesome DC month, Zombie Revenge, Virtual On and Shenmue all in December *sniff*
Anyone know where to download some VO OT songs, one of the best soundtracks.

Even though everyone is sayin quit yer bitchin and buy a ps2 I am still disapointed. I mean for my own selfish reasons I want it on an X-Box. I mean all the games that I really want are on an X-Box and I was hoping that this would be the Cake under the icing. I mean after all im just a broke ass gamer that had to spend all his money on a USED Dreamcast let alone a near a regular priced one. All my favorite games MUST be on a single system. I was brought up that way scince the eightees. And after all my opinion is the only one that matters so someone at Hitmaker done screwed up
