Cheap Laughs...
1. Get a file sharing program. Install, and axe the spyware that comes with it.
2. Search for "anime music video" or search videos using the name of a popular song, more than likely some poor degenerate has made an anime-based music video for it.
3. Laugh your arse off. May require copious amounts of alcohol to instill hearty guffaws, may not.
Seriously, you have got to see some of the creations these people make. Sailor Moon backed by Rammstein? Hamtaro set to GWAR? If you can imagine it, some poor fool has done it.

no need to go through all that hassle :)

anime music videos scare the hell out of me.
-
i think they are pretty cool.

Anime music videos are better than most actual music videos that come out today (or ever).
A sad but true fact of life.

Well, I saw this one with a song from Motorhead and this anime cat-girl thing :/ It was kinda funny.

While there are some true turds with AMVs, there are some really spectacular ones too. I highly recommend Tainted Donuts (a Trigun + Cowboy Bebop video), Sailor Senshi and the Villans they Love (A Sailor Moon/ Jerry Springer vid), and Lupin III Hungry Like the Wolf.

Ah... The advent of digital video capture. I used to make Anime Music videos ten years ago using two VCRs and a CD player. Mine were simple anime montages put to music. I haven't seen much of the stuff that pops up nowadays, but from what I've seen a lot of it is worse than the crappy stuff I strung together years ago (a lot of the stuff I did back then was pretty crappy, I was about 13 years old at the time). However I know I've seen one or two that have impressed me...

Vash vs Spike to the tune of Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson was pretty damned sweet...
they spliced together different scenes from Bebop and Trigun, and it was actually quite believeable...
