Let's (kinda) Remember...Robotsch: Crystal Dreams!

Amongst the first screenshots ever released for the N64 (back when it was Ultra 64) were those of Robotech:Crystal Dreams.

Sadly, it never came to be despite heaps of anticipation the gaming community had for this one.

Everything that could have gone wrong with Crystal Dreams went wrong, as it saw publishers back in and out, Gametek file Chapter 11, and eventually ended up with only one person on the entire development team!



Who remembers wanting to play this ill-fated game?

That and Freak Boy and Earthbound 64 and this Monster Basketball game so many games never saw the light of day on the 64.

Do we really *have* to remember...? :(

Yes, you "HAVE" to remember :D

I'd want to remember if the game actually materialized and Gametek didn't spend so much time putting out those crappy Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy games...

So how about that Doshin the Giant on the 64DD? :)

Better yet... Zelda Gaiden... or that Final Fantasy demo on the Ultra 64... ;)

I remember waiting for this game and hoping it would make it out. Then it got backed by Capcom at one point and I was sure it'd make it out(Good or bad, I didn't care at the time) but then that fell through. Supposidly the game(What was finished) was pretty good too...

Ok, I remember it. Now can we let it die? New Robotech game, out like, TOMMOROW! Let us all put Crystal Dreams to bed and go forth with our Battlecry!

Pity Battlecry is a nightmare. :p

I'll say no more than I've played it for about two hours now and I'm already considering what my options are in returning it.
