Sounds like a great idea. I've always enjoyed reading Crichton's books, many of which would make great game source material.

From scratch... Nice.
Sounds cool... I wonder who will be in charge of developing the title. I think it won't be as nice as it could be. It's likely Sega's only presence is QA and Publishing (and counting the money) - but the leg work will probably be out sourced. I'll wait and see.

Hmmm...no idea how this will pan out. Cool that it is Sega though.
Michael Chrichton will write the story to Shenmue 3. It will take place in a futuristic amusement park in which extinct cloned sabre-tooth rats will be the main attraction...
As long as they don't make a Congo game, then I will be happy.
Sega can make any license into a good game. Smart choice Crichton.
I'm hoping for a Westworld game, myself.
I like some of his books, but some get too boged down in technicalities... but thats the attration alot of the times though. Strangely The Andromeda Strain was my fav.

We know this if Crichton is involved: The ending will suck.
remember Timeline?
... yeah, that game blew ass
I'm interested in how the movie turns out... I saw the game on sale with the book... even that couldn't tempt me to buy it...
i heard the book was fine, but the game is total crap
