I don't think it would be on the Mega Hits label if it only sold 8,000 copies total. And if it sold over 3,000 this week, it would have only been selling, like, 20 copies a week up 'til now, if that was total sales for MGS2's life.

I mean, jeez, how obvious could the answer be?

I wouldn't be surprised if it sold that little considering how much bigger it is here in the US then in Japan.

I guess Sunshine's selling decently now after all. Only a couple weeks til it hits a million. And with Ikaruga passing the 19k mark, I think it finally outsold Radiant Silvergun. Must be all the US orders.

Interesting to see Rockman EXE 2/MM Battle Network 2 doing so well too.

Why are people bagging on Sega? They pushed an Xbox game in Japan to number 18. That's an incredible feat.

It still sold nearly a million copies I believe. Over 750k for certain.

Just because they don't go lunatic over the game in Japan doesn't mean it has no following. It's sales are just "great" there, instead of "holy shit what the hell."

Yeah, but sales could have been ten times that had it been released on the Playstation 2. I would rather see Sega still be a company in a couple years and be profitable than see them support multiple systems.)
