I liked it. The Order of Light group seemed like a diverse group. I don't know how one can consider them casual gamers when they spend all their time playing games, but whatever.
I think thats golden TEE.Quote:

Golden Tea...
*shiver*
so is this going to be a series or is this the only one. i couldnt help but think how much of a bunch of loosers the order of light was. and that shit that was 45 minutes late for work because of SOCOM.....lol. and i was thinking the whole time the pac man guys next big thing was his chicken wing sauce since they made a big deal about it. but i guess hes doing something game related.
Well when I said casual, I meant it simply to say that they play just to play with their group of guys and aren't training for anything bigger (atleast from my understanding)--like Fatality was a professional gamer because trained for tournaments and competed. The Order didn't seem to be working towards a larger goal, like entering national or international tournaments for fighters or anything--I guess I use casual when a living isn't made off of gaming...Quote:

At the end they showed him playing Centipede (I think) and that leads me to believe that he is going to try and perfect that game or another even harder old school game that Pac man...Quote:

I predict he will try to get the perfect game on 5 machines while eating his own chicken BBQ. :DQuote:

...and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, King of Fighters 98, Steel Battalion, DDR 5th Mix (which they had to have imported, that's totally hardCORE, just for you buddy) and more that I can't remember. They even had two Dreamcasts sitting next to each other.Quote:

Now that you know what they play, has that made you secure enough in your hobby that you don't have to justify yourself by worrying about what other people are playing?
Well said.
I didn't think the show was that bad. With responses like this I'm wondering what you were expecting from the show. Would it have been better if you were in it Frog?
I liked it. In fact, I was expecting something much worse, and didn't anticipate that the show would be largely about a handful of people.
I think the Golden Tee guy was nervous about being on TV. He didn't seem that good at all. I wonder if he'll ever make it to the PGA.....I doubt it somehow.
Fatal1ty did seem like a cool person. I wonder what his company Fatal1ty Inc does. I liked how he alluded his top status to being a star athelete: eat, drink, and breathe Unreal (or whatever), and practice practice practice.
The Order of Light were just a bunch of heavily addicted gamers. The one Asian guy being late for work was sad to see (why would he go home on his break to play anyway?), but they were overdoing it, I think.
Billy cracked me up with his flowing mullet. And how he shoved the competing hot sauces out of the way at the market.
I was hoping the show was going to concentrate on the games themselves, but there was next to no actual game footage or details at all. It basically picked a few people and followed their lifestyle around. In the end, it was mildly interesting to learn about the people a little (esp. Fatal1ty), but the show wasn't about games at all.
I liked it. I was expecting something that would be stereotypical, but they went in the opposite direction. The Order of Light guys seem like me and my friends about 5 or 6 years ago, except we didn't live together(thank god). Was funny as hell to see the Golden Tee Golf champion getting his ass whipped left and right. Scrub.
