Stealing Is Still Wrong, Right?
As I type this, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is sitting in a store not too far away. Having already played a couple of levels of it, I was looking forward to its release. Now I find myself trying to avoid adopting its hero's tactics just to get a copy.
Sly is a cel-shaded PlayStation 2 game that looks and feels like a Saturday morning cartoon. Developer Sucker Punch (Rocket: Robot on Wheels), in collaboration with Sony's Foster City Studio, has put together a next-generation platformer that features classic gameplay, stealth strategy, minigames, and more with a highly polished animated style and smart sense of humor. Well, at least from what I've seen of it.
If only there were really a trail of gold coins leading out my front door. Without the gun-toting baddies, of course.
