You're going to play AC a lot more that 15 minutes a day. If you like Harvest Moon I would buy AC without hesitation.

AC is the better game, no doubt. I own both, by the way.
AC is just so different from everything else. You feel an obligation to play it everyday, but not because its like a chore, its just that you think about it so much that you HAVE to play it daily. Truly different from any other videogame experience.

I'd say Animal Crossing. It seems like it's trying to do more new things (with it than Star Fox), and pretty much succeeding as well.
