if you do know Japanese, how much experience (year-wise)? Any chance I can bug you with hacked first-year sentences? Anyone want to learn, but haven't gotten to the task yet?
This is why I love school - gives me things to talk about. ^^

Thanks to the Sakura Taisen games, I know a little bit ^_^
I can in no way construct sentences yet though.
Japanese is an alright language - the syllabic thing is cool. If only they'd get rid of kanji, the whole thing would be perfect... Kanji really drags the language down.
Finnish, surprisingly, sounds a lot like Japanese at times. Kind of neat.
Speak for poo, read better, about 1,000 of them kanji I be knowing, it be cool.
Me read books when me was bored, for a couple years, me not having no classes nor nothing. Me should do more on it and wrap it up and get that KAT thingy.

Nah, see, a good pimp would recognize it for what it is. You must be PIT (Pimp In Training).
Oh, look into Tibetan, that'll blow your mind, it's like Japanese x10. Wicked stuff.
Swahili is actually a lot like Japanese, too, similar sounds...like a cross between Japanese and Latin. It's funny how similar syllabic languages start to seem once you get used to them.
what about Mandarin? I heard that's some rough stuff.
Ironically, English is also one of the harder to learn languages.
Mandarin is tough, but Tibetan is insane. Think same Tonal sounds for different words, then add interdependant character placement (in releation to other characters by strange rules) and you have a beginning. I know about 10 words of it :(
